At The Beach B & B in Paihia offers two accommodation options both with superb sea views across the Bay of Islands.

Yachtview is a spacious 3 room unit, with lounge and kitchenette and sleeps up to 4 people , while Beachview is a comfortable well-appointed double room with sun-filled patio and private ensuite.

BREAKFAST: A full breakfast including free-range eggs and local Bay of Islands preserves is served either in the sunny breakfast room overlooking the Bay, or in the peace and tranquillity of your own accommodation. You choose.

LOCATION: It is just a few paces from your bed & breakfast accommodation to the sandy beach, from where it is a 20 minute stroll around the water's edge to Paihia township and wharf, gateway to the Bay of Islands maritime area (or less than 5 min by car), passing on your way several excellent Paihia cafes, bars and restaurants which will suit every taste.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: Paihia is a perfect accommodation base from which to explore the Bay of Islands and the Far North. You could easily spend weeks exploring all there is to see and do in the Bay of Islands alone. Opt to explore the Bay of Islands, walk to historic Waitangi, take a ferry to Russell or a tour to 90-Mile Beach. Or choose to lunch al fresco at one of the local vineyards, swim with the dolphins, visit mighty Kauri trees, play a round of golf, walk the coastal tracks,or sail, dive, kayak or just laze at one of the many sandy beaches just a stroll from your room.
